About Us

Zabava.si is an independent online media platform (reg. no. 2580 in the register of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia) that brings people together through culture. We are a team of enthusiasts, journalists, designers, and developers inspired by the idea of making Slovenia’s cultural life more accessible and understandable for everyone: from local residents to visitors.

Our mission is to inspire and connect. We gather up-to-date events from across Slovenia daily: from intimate bar concerts to international festivals, from children’s workshops to contemporary art exhibitions. Zabava.si is more than just an event calendar. It’s a space for discoveries through interviews with creators, reviews of performances and films, photo and video reports, and an interactive event map. All content is available in Slovenian and English, so everyone can find something for themselves.

We take pride in our team, with experience from projects like Val 202, POP TV, and RTV Slovenija. Editor-in-Chief Tjaša Cerk, along with the editorial team, ensures our content is vibrant, honest, and useful. We collaborate with cultural institutions, event organizers, and tourism agencies, supporting young talents and independent initiatives. Want to add your event, venue, or services?
