Magical Honey Houses

Give yourself something precious – time dedicated to creating and letting your creativity flow.

As the end of the year approaches, it is usually a time for celebration and baking. Gingerbread is commonly found on festive tables, especially during Christmas. Honey dough, however, allows for the creation of other delightful products.

One of these creations is the MAGICAL HONEY HOUSES, which, with their beautiful appearance and wonderful scent of honey and festive spices, make a lovely decoration for our homes or an unforgettable gift for our loved ones.

If you’re unsure which recipe to choose, how to shape your honey house, or how to decorate it, join us at the City Museum Ljubljana.

The workshop is led by Petra Peunik Okorn, a versatile creator, beekeeper, and apitherapist, who has worked as an external collaborator for the Museum and Galleries of the City of Ljubljana for many years.

All the materials we need to create the magical honey houses will be provided at the workshop. We recommend bringing protective clothing (e.g., an apron) with you.

The number of spots for the workshop is limited, so please register as soon as possible; your registration is confirmed with payment (we will send the payment details upon registration).
