The Algerian-Tuareg group Tikoubaouine was formed in 2013 in the town of In Salah. Their music blends Tuareg traditions—singing in the Tamasheq language and Saharan rhythms—with modern musical elements such as guitar, bass, drums, and percussion. Their sound expresses the spirit of nomadic life in the desert, carrying messages of peace, love, and brotherhood.
The band defines itself as a guardian of memory, preserving and transmitting Tuareg cultural heritage through music.
