BigBand@SiTi: tribute to John Gregorc-90 years

This year, Janez Gregorc, a Slovenian composer and one of the greatest masters of jazz arranging in Slovenia, would celebrate 90 years. To his long-time music producer, Big Band RTV Slovenija will dedicate the opening concert of its central concert cycle BigBand@SiTi, which will take place on Friday, 18. in October 2024, in Siti Teatro BTC under the direction of Tadej Tomsic. The program will include Gregory
original works for our National Jazz Orchestra as well as premiere performances of adaptations of his artwork for other musical compositions. His oeuvre also includes ballets, symphonic and chamber works and film music. The ballet suite
in 1992, he also received the Preseren Fund award.
