A rock 'n' roll comedy that shatters stereotypes about boring old folks in one fell swoop.
Aging has become the biggest boogeyman, the most terrifying disease of the modern era. Since we cannot stop time, it is best to look through tears of laughter to the year 2065, when the theater building at Slovenska 27 will no longer be a temple of art but a retirement home.
In the performance *Forever Young*, a group of actors and actresses, members of the former Maribor Drama, provides anything but a dull rock 'n' roll experience for the third stage of life in a grotesquely entertaining way, using singing and music therapy. Through excellent acting and singing interpretations of hits like “I Love Rock’n’Roll,” “Born To Be Wild,” “I Got You Babe,” and more, the decaying stage boards vibrate cathartically once again.
In the song-drama *Forever Young* (2007) by Swiss author Erik Gedeon, which the versatile musical theater creator Sandy Lopičić and the production team adapted both in content and dramaturgy, they have found the long-sought elixir of eternal youth – a show that shakes the stage and shatters stereotypes about the elderly.
