The Slovenian National Theater Maribor is a cultural institution with more than a century of tradition, which not only strongly marked the image of the city, but also of the wider region, and with the continuous production of its program has a significant influence on the development of art and culture in Slovenia. This theater is a place that truly belongs to all of us and in which different generations of audiences meet and different views, tolerance, solidarity, a culture of dialogue and a wide variety of poetics and aesthetics in the field of music, dance and dramatic art. Opera and Ballet and I managed to prepare a program that is current, provocative, interesting, aesthetically perfect, critical and at the same time sensitive and understanding of many social issues.
